2000 Deep-Dive-Corp. released their first album ..support your local groover.. on Free Form Records. The tracks on the album sounded so new and different that the year 2000 was a good one anyway. DeepDiveCorp. gained quite some followers immediately, who walk on water for/with them. Than everything happend fast: in 2001 they released ..blackmail recordings.. incl. the hitsingle ..deep heart.. feat. Inaya Day and in 2002 ..beware of fake gurus... One smasher after the other and they don´t stop. With the production of ..Freestyle Floating.. (2005) and the move to In-D Rec. the homebase of the band changed as well: from cool + wet Hamburg to sunny Ibiza. On the island producer P.M.FM is part of the Artist Collective Ibizarre and hosts his own radioshow ..The Dive.. on WWW.IBIZASONICA.COM Wednsdays 14:00 The latest release ...SOME FUNKY FISH is even more rythmic and various. Thanks to Bahram Ji (vocals, santur and setar) and his son Bashir (tomback) in the tracks BRILLIANCE and BELOVED world and ethnic elements are back in their sound. And they´ve added funk and soul elements as well. Check out HANDS UP with the remarkable voice of Dennis le Gree, who is a regular visitor in DEEP DIVE CORP.productions. DDC´s even rocking it in GALAXIES thanks to Patrick P. (vocals) + Boris (guitar). Also bassgenius Hellmut Hattler left his phat bassmarks on NICE FLIGHT. A japanese Blues (!) JIYOU, features the exotic voice of Hideyo Blackmoon. And than there are the typical driving and phat grooving DDC guitartracks like BLUE + SLAM JAM who make it quite clear: Let´s keep it phonky! The RMX skills are in demand as well. No surprise with such a wide range of styles and sounds. Die Dissidenten, Ramesh, Karl Möstl, Zehava Ben, Martin Böttcher, Razoof, Klangstrahler Projekt, Henry Mancini, Martha & the Muffins, Flipside und Hellmut Hattler have tried them already.
