Die Köpfe hinter Future Funk sind Marcel Krieg und Jerome Isma-ae aus München.
Seit ihrer Gründung haben sie sich in nur kurzer Zeit, durch ihren eigenständigen Sound der auf House, Disco, Soul- und Funk-Elementen beruht, zur größten deutschen House-Hoffnung gemausert. Das führte dazu, daß sie neben Hans Nieswand als einzigster deutscher House Act auf dem US-Kult Label „Strictly Rythm“ veröffentlicht wurden. Später gründeten sie ihr eigenes Label „Flavour Records“. Andere Veröffentlichungen erfolgten auf Labels wie Compose, Hey Babe!, Plastic City und Delirium. Ihr erstes Album veröffentlicht auf Sony Records wird beweisen, daß feiner House Sound, wie auch Wirlpool Production, auch aus Deutschland kommen kann. Das Besondere am Future Funk Set ist, daß die beiden ihr gesamtes Set live einspielen. Abgerundet wird der Live-Auftritt durch zwei DJ-Sets von Jerome Isma-ae und Marcel Krieg. Als Support DJ wird Marcus Welby, einer der besten Leipziger House DJ’s auftreten.

They are one of the rare - perhaps the only - house acts based in Germany with international reputation and influence. Marcel Krieg and Jerome Isma-ae (both seated in Munich) created that special Sound: Disco and House an explosive mixture and at that time absolutely brandnew for the german scene. The two creatives came together and their different backgrounds formed Future Funk, now producing, live-acting and DJing at all important events such as Mayday, Love Parade official Opening Party 98', Nature One, just to name a few. But that is not the whole story: They have been the 1st (!) german act releasing on Strictly Rhythm ever. Followed by releases on Sony, Caus'n'ff'ct (p.e. Marcel Krieg presenting the Ghettoboys "Tonite") and several important house labels. The track "Music takes you high" was a huge success in Australia and so they were able to do a tour across the australian club scene. Right now Marcel Krieg (together with JD Braithwaite) has finished his work on Giorgio Moroders "Spring Affairs".
