Ministry of Sound goes Plastic

Having already released their first single Stay/Go, Plastic Inc. has just signed with Ministry Of Sound for the release of the second single I Stand Alone, the remixes of which, are now available online.

Remix contributors include: CJ Stone (DE) Jean Elan (DE) and Tom Novy (DE). This single release has been produced by Voodoo and Serano.

The first single Stay/Go is available from Just For Fun Recordings, and a number of übercool remixes are available from Ali Payami (SE), Playmaker (UK) and Bloom (UK).

Who is Plastic Inc?

(Could they be reptiles from another planet frequently seen driving around in a Tiger Tank?)

A few years ago, Mikael Surdi (SE) (also known from the Swedish Grammy nominated band Physics) and John Conlon (UK) met at a recording studio, and decided to knock out a few tunes just to see what would happen.

All said and done however there was still something missing. Mikael and John needed a lead vocalist with a smooth touch, looks to die for and a stage attitude spawned from the bar lounge of hell, and along came Nina Hall (DK).

Today Plastic Inc is the coming together of three different musical perspectives, creating a blend of lo-frequency beats n breaks, non-preset keyboards and annoyingly catchy hooks, that stick to you like a bee to a jar of honey.

The band has spellbound audiences with their catchy tunes and amazing stage presence. You cannot help but be thrown into funky dance moves when you hear their songs, especially at their live performances. Just watch one of their videos and you will know what we mean.
